Once assembled, the D113 Caucus will convene in mid-November to evaluate candidates interested in running for the Township High School District 113 Board of Education. Candidates who have completed and returned the Questionnaire by the mandatory due date will be invited to present before the Caucus members followed by a brief question and answer session. Up to four candidates may be endorsed who will then have Caucus support.
The following events will occur beginning in early Fall 2022 and leading up to the 2023 election:
- Late August through mid-September 2022: Solicitation of potential District 113 Caucus delegates.
- Mid-September 2022: Selection of District 113 Caucus delegate members.
- September 29, 2022 - First Caucus Delegate Planning Meeting (held virtually) to review of district priorities, caucus and board member responsibilities and bylaws.
- October 12, 2022 - Second Caucus Delegate Planning Meeting (held virtually) to discuss the candidate questionnaire and criteria for vetting and endorsing board candidates.
- November 16 and 17, 2022: Caucus Endorsement Meetings (held virtually) to conduct candidate interviews and vote on endorsements, and to elect officers for the next caucus cycle.
- December 12 - 19, 2022: Board Candidates required to file nominating petitions with the County Clerk.
- April 4, 2023: Election Day for District 113 Board of Education members.
